Compared to last week; slaughter and feeder cows traded mostly steady early in the day then trading weaker throughout the afternoon. Slaughter bulls traded steady. A large run of Cow Calf pairs and Bred Females today with dry conditions forcing ranchers to down size. Overall a very active market with most of the cattle going out of state. Sale again next Friday.

One sale is one barn on one day. The state ladder is every Wyoming auction USDA reported that week, weighted by head — the fairer test of whether a lot sold well.
