Compared to last week, feeder heifers sold steady on a very thin test. Slaughter cows sold steady to 6.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold steady. Demand was good with quite a few cows going back to the country as rebreeds or feeding cows. Rain showers continue across many areas of the state and hay producers continue to struggle with first cutting of alfalfa. Some hay producers are about 3 weeks behind or a normal hay production schedule.
