Sheep and Goat Special today, similar head run of Feeder and Slaughter Cattle compared to last with a good run of short legs. Above average attendance and active trade throughout. Sheep offering made up almost entirely of Hair Breeds. Good and Choice Lambs 80# averaged $288.19 per cwt; 90# averaged $293.80 per cwt. Feeder Steers on a small rally, lighter end of the run $2-$7 higher with most competitive demand for heavy four weight steers with demand lowering for the heavier end of the run. Demand for Feeder Heifers significantly lower this week. Slaughter Cows tapering off somewhat from weakening trend of the past few weeks and settled $6 per cwt lower, while Bulls sold spot on steady. Baby Calves up to $900/head. Slaughter hogs, $90-$112 per cwt; Feeder Pigs, $90/head, Piglets, $47.50-$65.00 per head. This sale is reported on an out-weight basis.
