Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Low receipts and moderate attendance today due to wintery conditions in the regional area. Offering bolstered by 3 board lots of Steers on the report as Medium and Large 1-2, though it should be noted that 85% went #1. These lots sold steady with comparable reports for this week. Quite a bit of color with the in-barn offering as the result of a Dexter herd reduction, on the report under Small frame Cattle. Dexter Feeders sold by the head. Small run of Herefords reported below as Medium frame. Low offering of Slaughter Cattle, no market test. Heiferettes, $131-$137 per cwt; Slaughter Hogs, $70-$125 per Head.
