For today's Board Sale results, please see Buckhannon Stockyards Board Sale report.

Average attendance for todays in barn sale, trade remained fairly brisk throughout despite current market conditions. Nigh double the offering compared to last month's Feeder Special, however, significantly weaker demand over the same time as well. Feeder Cattle sold $20 to $23 per cwt lower, though not consistent over all weight breaks, Heifer demand held a bit firmer than Steers. Small run of quality Feeder Bulls sold $20 per cwt lower than Steers. Shoulder Cattle $5 to $7 per cwt higher than #1 Cattle of the same weight, but again, not consistent for all breaks. Red/white face cattle on report as Medium Framed, small run but some quality in it. Wetter than average conditions persist across N. Central West Virginia with very ample water and pasture for the season.
