*This report is for the in-barn cattle today. For today's board sale results, please see Buckhannon Stockyards--Board Sale*

Larger run than last month's in barn special by near 100 head. Break in the dog days heat yesterday and today with temperatures in the low 70s made for excellent conditions to haul cattle. Better than average attendance with very active trade on the in barn offering. Stronger demand than last month, much stronger in the lighter weights, however, we didn't see the numbers of lighter Feeders to call it a very strong test. Best tests would be in the 6 weights: Feeder Steers $30 per cwt higher, Heifers $23.50-$31 per cwt higher. No test on Bulls.
