No recent trends due to the holidays the last few weeks and this was the first sale of 2026. A sharply higher undertone was noted. Trade very active with very good demand for hay wintered calves and yearlings. Feeder cattle futures posted gains of $4.22 to $6.15 across the nearbys on Tuesday. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was back up 56 cents to $369.12 on January 12.
