Compared to 2 week's ago Tuesday at the same market, Stocker and feeder steers steady to 6.00 lower. Stocker and feeder heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder cattle futures were 80 cents to $1.10 higher at the bell, save for a $0.27 pullback from the November contract. The 11/12 CME Feeder Cattle Index was 37 cents stronger to $155.43. Buyer attendance was good both ringside and on the internet. Trade active with good demand. A Reuters survey shows analysts are expecting CoF numbers at 11.949m head as of 11/1. That would be down 0.2% from last year if realized. October placements are anticipated at 2.2% above 2020, with a projected 3.7% drop in marketing's.
