Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder steers steady to firm. stocker heifers less than 700 lbs steady to weak. Feeder cattle futures were up 45 to 90 cents on Thursday, with front month April down 17 cents. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was down $3.44 to $370.00 on April 22. Slaughter cows 10.00-12.00 higher. Best demand for turnout cows. Slaughter bulls weak. Trade very active with very good demand.
