As filed

Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder cattle 1.00-8.00 higher. Feeder cattle futures are up a nickel in the expiring September contract, with other contracts down $6 to $7. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was back up 21 cents at $361.31 on September 23. Slaughter cows steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls weak. Trade active with good demand especially for bred cows and lean cows to return to feed. Bred cow offerings included a few complete dispersions.
