Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder cattle steady to firm. Several lots of weaned fall calves offered at todays sale. CME Feeder cattle futures are up a strong $3.17 to $3.30 in the nearby, excluding the expiring May contract. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was back up 31 cents on May 20 with an average price at $297.64. Slaughter cows and bulls firm. Trade active with good demand.
