As filed

Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder cattle steady to firm in a light test. The front month feeder cattle futures market was $3.90 to $4.15 higher on the day and closed just a dime under the session highs. The 11/1 CME Feeder Cattle Index strengthened by 55 cents to $237.80. Slaughter cows weak to 9.00 lower. Most decline on Lean type cows as supply exceeds demand. Market strong on heaviest dairy and beef cows due to short supply. Slaughter bulls firm in a light test. Trade active with moderate demand.
