Bred Hfrs Reputation quality AI bred to calve mid Feb, cleaned up with 9 Mile low bw bulls to finish in March. CME Feeders are trading higher through midday with 32 to 77 cent gains. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was $162.13 on 1/04, down by 22 cents. Weekly Export Sales data showed 3,893 MT of net cancelations for 2021 beef bookings for the week that ended 12/30. 2022 bookings came in at 11.8k MT which was bumped total forward sales to 80k MT as of 12/30. Ending the 2021 year, weekly data showed a record 922,024 MT of beef was exported as of 12/30. 2021 also concluded with 156,839 MT of unshipped sales, that was 41% higher than last year’s rollover.
