Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Thursday at the same market, Stocker and feeder cattle weak in a light test. Supply not as attractive as last week as most offerings were small lots and singles. Buyer attendance was light. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower with most pressure on the Boning cows. Slaughter bulls weak in a light test. Trade active with good demand.

One sale is one barn on one day. The state ladder is every Washington auction USDA reported that week, weighted by head — the fairer test of whether a lot sold well.
