Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, feeder steers sold sharply higher on good quality calves and yearlings, while there was not enough comparable cattle to trend feeder heifers. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. There was not enough bulls to set an accurate trend for slaughter bulls. Trade was very active with good demand across all classes of livestock with active buyer participation ringside and on the internet, with a light to moderate supply.
