Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs traded sharply higher. Steers weighing between 500-700 lbs traded 9.00 to 16.00 higher and those over 700 lbs traded mostly 3.00 to 18.00 higher. Feeder heifers weighing between 400-700 lbs traded mostly 11.00 to 22.00 higher. No other weight classes of heifers had enough accurate comparisons. In slaughter cows, average dress breaker and boner cows traded 1.50 to 2.75 higher, while average dress lean cows traded 7.00 lower. Slaughter bulls traded 1.25 lower.
