Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales on steers or heifers for a market trend but a lower undertone was noted on all classes except for 5 weight heifers which trade up to 10.00 higher. The majority of the supply consisted of light weight calves and slaughter cows. Trading activity was moderate on moderate buyer demand. Slaughter cows traded mostly 10.00 to 12.00 higher with a notable increase in buyer demand. Some of the cows will return to feed or back to the country. Heat is forecasted to continue with temperatures ranging from the upper 90's to lower 100's for the next 7 days with minimal moisture chances.
