Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Calves too lightly tested for a market trend. Trading activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand. Not enough slaughter cows for a market trend. Storms moved across the Panhandle over the past two nights bringing 1 to 3 inches of rain. Rain chances continue throughout the week, before temperatures warm up to the 90's over the weekend. Pastures are in good shape, and producers have been busy trying to beat the rain with wheat silage and bailing wheat hay in full swing.
