Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales on steers or heifers due to this weeks light test. Slaughter cows traded mostly 5.00 higher. Receipts were lighter today due to the rain and snow that moved in towards the end of last week and through the weekend. The rain and snow made travel difficult over the weekend and the remaining mud has made it tough to gather and ship. Pastures have already greened up following the moisture. Temperatures are forecasted to warm up to at or above seasonal averages which will continue to spur on pasture growth.
