Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Not enough comparable sales on steer and heifer calves for a market trend. Slaughter cows and bulls steady on a light test. Quality was attractive with the majority of the supply consisting of load lots of yearlings straight off the wheat. Trading activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand. Lighter receipts today were the result of a cold front that moved back into the trading area bringing sub zero temperatures. Seasonal temperatures will return to the region through the end of the week.
