Steer and heifer calves were too lightly tested the previous week for a market trend but a much higher undertone was noted. Quality on the calves was very attractive this week with the majority of the supply consisting of larger strings of long weaned calves with strong vaccination programs. Yearling cattle were mostly plain to average with moderate to heavy flesh conditions. Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00 to 2.00 lower on a light test. Trading activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand.
