The Central and Eastern regions of the Panhandle received moisture in the form of rain which later turned to snow causing ice to accumulate on the power lines and cause power outages. Totals ranged anywhere from 2 to 6 inches. The moisture was much needed, but warmer temperatures accompanied by high winds will be moving back into the area by the weekend and first of next week.
