Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold with a much higher undertone compared to last weeks light test, with instances of up to 10.00 to 15.00 higher on comparable sales. Quality was very attractive with several load lots of high quality weaned cattle with reputable shot programs out of Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas on offer. The Panhandle received some much needed moisture in the form of snow over the weekend and through the first part of the week. Buyer demand was very good on active trading activity. The barn finished off the last sale of 2020 with a nice customer appreciation lunch.
