Total receipts were 2,260 compared to 1,989 last week. A special replacement sale was held in conjunction with the regular sale. The market was very strong although it was a little softer than last week. Feeder steers under 500 lbs. were 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Feeder steers over 500 lbs. were 4.00 to 10.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs. were off by 12.00 to 15.00, while the feeder heifers over 500 lbs. were off 5.00 to 8.00. The higher dressing slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher and the lower dressing cows were steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were steady to 3.00 higher.
