Total receipts were 1,392 compared to 1,365 head last week. The market was very strong across the board. Feeder steers and heifers were both up 10.00 to 12.00 across all weight classes. Slaughter cows were fully steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold fully steady with the higher dressing bulls 6.00 stronger. There were lots of replacement cattle sold today and that market was exceptional, with bred heifers bringing up to 5,200 per head.
