Compared to last week: Considering last weeks shorter turn out, there were few comparable sales on steers to determine a trend. However, demand for feeder steers seemed weaker while steer calves seemed to gain higher interest. Heifer numbers had a higher turn out this week, with a good reception. Heifer calves weighing 450 lbs up to 650 lbs. brought 10.00-30.00 higher. The slaughter market remained strong with average to high yielding beef cows and bulls selling steady to 8.00 higher.
