This week a special yearling heifer sale was held in conjunction with the regular sale therefore no comparisons are available, but a higher undertone was noted on feeder heifers as they made up the bulk of the offerings. However, demand was mostly good to very good with buyers showing the best interest in the 8 load lots that were offered. Slaughter cows were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 lower with slaughter bulls 5.00 higher.
