Compared to last week, and based on a much heavier test this week, feeder heifers weighing up to 550 lbs. 10.00 to 23.00 higher and those weighing over 550 lbs. 4.00 higher. No comparisons available for feeder steers and bulls due to limited receipts last week, but a higher undertone was noted for steers and sharply higher on bulls. Hiqh-quality offerings was noted for feeder classes, with a majority of the offerings being preconditioned. Slaughter cows gauging 8.00 to 12.00 lower overall with slaughter bulls 2.00 lower. Today's offerings included the following load lots: 1 load ML 1 preconditioned Steers, 623 lbs., $320.25 per cwt., medium flesh, mixed colors and 2 loads ML 1 preconditioned Steers, 855 lbs., $261.50 per cwt., medium flesh, appx. 80 percent black/bwf and 20 percent Continental crosses.
