Compared to two weeks ago: The best test on Steer Calves was 550-600lbs, 8.00 higher and 650-700lbs, 4.00 lower. Heifer Calves, 600-650lbs, sharply lower; 650-700lbs, 10.00 higher; 700-750lbs, 5.00 lower. Demand was good for today's offering with fewer consigners on the list. A few load lots, and several packages of steers, heifers and replacement heifers sold on an active market, despite not as many buyers in the seats. Flesh condition was mostly moderate, with a few packages leaning more towards fleshy, and all carried both rounds of shots. Winter finally made an appearance, dropping some much needed snow in the area, but bringing damaging winds with it.
