Compared to last week: There were no comparable numbers with this weeks sale in the steers. Heifers 800-900lbs were mostly steady and 900-1000lbs, 5.00 lower. A couple of loads of nice yearling steers sold on good demand. The rest of todays offering was mostly preg checked open or spayed heifers, selling on moderate demand. A few small packages of spring calves sold on good demand as feedlots start looking to fill pens. Fewer buyers in the seats today and the internet bids were quiet, but next week's sale is a spring calf special, with more expected as the fall run begins. .
