Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Steers 400 - 700 lbs 10.00 to 13.00 higher. Heifers 400 - 600 lbs, 11.00 - 14.00 higher. Good demand for this nice offering of spring calves, with several load lots and large pens of fully vaccinated calves. Calves with spring and fall shots brought premium prices. The market activity was good, with the stands full of both buyers and sellers for todays first all day calf sale of the fall run.
