This is the first reported sale of the summer, so a price trend can not be established. Very good demand for this nice offering of mostly yearlings. A few loads and large lots, along with smaller packages, including lots of tested open heifers, sold on an active market. Buyers both in the stands and on the internet vied for this offering. The quality was attractive today, with mostly black hided cattle, and most coming off green grass or out of grow yards. Summer temperatures have hit the area just in time for fall, following a wet spring and summer for most in the area. The next feeder sale is September 8, and is a yearling special.
