Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers 500 - 550 lbs sold 4.00 to 7.00 higher, 550 - 600 lbs sold 6.00 lower, 600 - 650 lbs sold 10.00 higher, 650 - 700 lbs were steady to 2.00 lower, and over 700 lbs were trending lower on a light test. Feeder Heifers 400 - 450 lbs sold 8.00 higher, 450 - 500 lbs were trending higher, with a small showing from last week, over 500 lbs sold 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Calves sold on a moderate market. Demand for this nice offering was moderate to good, with buyers both in the stands and on the internet. Lots of nice long time weaned and fully vaccinated calves topped the market. Black hided calves continue to be in high demand. There is no sale on February 3, during the Black Hills Stock Show. The next Feeder Calf sale will be February 10.
