Compared to last week Feeder Steers 400 to 650 Steady, other classes of Feeder Steers not well tested, Feeder Heifers 350 to 500 Steady, 500 to 650 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Good Demand for Several Load Lots and Many Packages of Feeder Steers and Feeder Heifers which sold on an Active Market. Today's Supply was significantly diminished due to an early Winter Storm that dumped some much needed moisture coming in the form of 3-4 inches of rain or 1-2 feet of snow across a large area. Nearly the entire Offering consisted of Home Raised, spring born calves that had Spring and Fall vaccinations and carried light to moderate flesh. Much of the offering were clean, open haired, attractive calves; several packages showed some tag from the recent moisture but did not seem to have a negative impact on their marketability. The Next Feeder Cattle Sale is Wednesday, October 20, Spring Calf Special, Expecting 3,000 Head; Friday, October 22, Yearling and Spring Calf Special, Expecting 10,000 Head.
