First Feeder cattle sale of 2021. Feeder heifers were higher than the last sale of Dec, on the 11th, by 2.00 - 7.00. Feeder steers in the high 400 weights and the high 600 weights were higher 2.00 - 5.00, the low 400's and 500 weights were 5.00 - 10.00 lower, and the low 600 weights and 700 weights stayed steady. There was an attractive offering of calves with both branding time and pre-condition shots as well as being weaned. Buyer presence was light today but did not affect the very good demand. The market was active for todays many strings of feeder calves. Next sale is Jan 15, 2021.
