Feeder heifers of the 550 - 650 weights were 3.00 - 6.00 higher, 400 - 550 weights were steady to 3.00 lower, and the light weights under 400 pounds were lower still. There were wide price spreads today; premiums were given for full loads and large strings while discounts were given for cattle without pre condition shots. Flesh conditions varied with some offerings with fancy condition and good stretch to offerings that had a flesh condition created by dry ground. Offerings cleared the market at a reasonable rate and were rapidly absorbed. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday December 4th, 2020.
