Compared to last week: For the feeder steers there were many weight brackets that were incomparable excluding the low 700's that were 2 higher and the high 800's that were 4 lower. The feeder heifers were 1.00 - 3.00 lower overall. The calves offered today were thin fleshed whereas the yearlings brought an attractive moderate condition. Many strings being brought in today was the result of dry feeding conditions. Market activity and demand was active for feeder heifers, whether open or spayed, and the truck loads of heavy 800 weight steers. Next sale Sept 18, 2020
