Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers were steady to 2.00 higher in the weight categories that were sufficient enough to compare while the feeder heifers stayed steady. The weaned calf special today had several mixed in that were not weaned although it was not reflected in the overall prices. The flesh of the offerings today ranged from light to moderate plus conditions. After the storm last week that dumped large amounts of snow, temps then rose above freezing and the ground conditions got muddy which has had an adverse effect on demand currently. Next calf special will be Dec 13, 2019.
