Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago: Steers 450-650lbs were sharply higher. 650-700lbs, steady to 2.00 higher, on a light test. Heifers 500-650lbs, 12.00-15.00 higher. Very good demand for today's offering. Quality was mixed, with most carrying light to moderate flesh, and spring and fall shots. Several of the packages were fully weaned, with others coming straight off the cow. The market was active, with renewed optimism in the seats as the feeder and live cattle futures have seen some gains in the past few days. The next Feeder Calf sale is December 12.
