Compared to last week: Steers and heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Demand was firm on the trailer and truck loads of cattle and weaker on the remainder as the quality was similar to last week's offering. Quality attractive with the majority of stock being exceptionally clean and conditioned. Lower cash cattle trade developed this week along with boxed beef prices closing $3 lower today. Majority of the offering consisted of cattle brought overnight and on the heavier end.

Slaughter lambs under 110 lbs. steady to 15.00 higher. Over 110 lbs. steady to 20.00 lower. Feeder lambs and slaughter ewes lacked solid comparisons but a higher undertone was noticed. Demand moderate on another large offering of heavier lambs where demand was firmer on the lighter weights. There was active bidding again on feeding type quality headed back to the farm.
