As filed

Compared to last week: Steers and heifers traded 2.00 to 3.00 higher on the lighter offering. Demand was very good for the few full loads and handful of trailer loads of longer fed cattle on offer. Fed cattle supplies remain historically tight. Live cattle complex trading volatile with trades of $260 live and $400 dressed reported this week.

Slaughter lambs 5.00 to 15.00 lower. Feeder lambs displayed a sharply higher undertone on limited comparable trades. Slaughter ewes mostly 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Demand held up for the majority of the large supply of slaughter lambs on offer and especially so on the feeder lambs going back to grass.
