Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 5.00 to 9.00 higher. A light offering of steers and heifers. Demand good, yet not all packer buyers participated. Cattle feeders have been disappointed in the trajectory of the fat market lately, which resulted in few producers opting to market their cattle this week.

Slaughter lambs under 130 lbs 15.00 to 20.00 lower, over 130 lbs unevenly steady. Slaughter ewes steady to 5.00 higher. Moderate to good demand for slaughter lambs, very good demand for feeder lambs, good demand for slaughter ewes, very good demand for bred ewes and ewe/lamb families. Many long strings of slaughter lambs, including full loads and half loads.
