Compared to last week: Slaughter steers 13.00 to 15.00 lower, heifers 10.00 to 11.00 lower. Light to moderate demand for this large offering of high quality grading, longtime fed steers and heifers. The CME Live Cattle contracts were down 5.00 during the heart of the sale and packer buyers weren't showing much interest until in bidding until they backed the bid up to the 207.00-208.00 mark. The was no shortage of really attractive fat cattle, 9 full loads of steers, 8 full loads of heifers, balance many part loads and stock trailer loads.

No slaughter cattle auction next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Slaughter lambs under 120 lbs 5.00 to 25.00 higher, over 120 lbs steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter ewes 10.00 to 15.00 higher, except Good 2-3 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Very good demand for non-traditional weight slaughter lambs, moderate demand for traditional weights. Very good demand for slaughter ewes. Very good demand for the nice offering of bred ewes, the market was very active as there were a lot of buyers on the seats wanting to buy these good white faced ewes. Next sheep and goat auction will be next Tuesday Nov. 25, 2025, starting at 8:00 am.
