The offering was small, but packer buyers were all present and wanting to buy cattle, the market was active. 2 full loads of steers, 1 part load of heifers, balance packages.
Slaughter lambs under 110 lbs 10.00 to 30.00 lower, over 110 lbs 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Slaughter ewes steady. Good demand for slaughter lambs, a winter storm moved across the area which made for difficult travel conditions affected the size of the sale this week. The market was active in spite of the weather, as most buyers watched and bid on-line. Very good demand for the good offering of bred ewes.
