Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Holstein steers not tested. Good demand for this light run of slaughter cattle. Corn harvest is ongoing and producers are working to get as much done as possible before the rain comes tonight and tomorrow, which caused a light offering of fats this week. Oct Live Cattle made a little rally today, pushing up to 184.00 which helped to add support to the market. 4 full loads of steers, 1 load of heifers with the balance part loads and packages. Estimated dressed cost ranged from 290.00-296.00. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 4.00 lower, bulls weak.

Slaughter lambs steady to 2.00 higher, slaughter ewes sold with a lower undertone. Good demand for this nice offering of slaughter lambs, light demand for slaughter ewes, good demand for open ewes to return to the country.
