The surge in prices reflects shrinking supply of market ready cattle and declining weights. With the nice weather and summer upon us comes grilling season. Several buyers in the seats, as well as, on line Light weight lambs 60 lbs and under were the most sought after today. Young, fat, black faced ewes created a bidding frenzy. Slaughter ewes 5.00 to 15.00 higher.
