Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Holsteins 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Demand for this nice offering of cattle was moderate. Most cattle were hauled in over night making weighing conditions good for the buyer. Estimated dressed cost 233.00 - 236.00. CME Live cattle higher while corn plunged. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 4.00 higher.

Traditional weight slaughter sheep 21.00 to 23.00 lower. Demand for this nice offering of sheep was moderate. Good 4-5 Steady to 2.00 higher, Good 2-3 1.00 to 3.00 lower, Utility 5.00 to 8.00 lower, Cull steady.
