Compared to last week: Slaughter steers 1.00 to 3.00 higher, heifers 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Holsteins 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Demand for this nice offering of slaughter cattle was good. 18 pot loads sold today. 7 groups of steers weighing over 1600 lbs. Premium was evident for non implant cattle. Estimated dressed cost 225.00 - 231.00. CME Live Cattle closed higher while corn plunged lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00 higher.

Traditional weight slaughter lambs steady to 4.00 lower. Demand for this nice offering was moderate. Several lots weighing over 160 this week. Slaughter ewes steady to 5.00 lower.
