Compared to last week: Slaughter steers in a very light test 1.00 to 4.00 higher, heifers to few to make a meaningful comparison. Holstein steers 4.00 to 9.00 higher. Demand for this light offering was good. Holsteins were in high demand today. No implant cattle showed a good premium. The excessive heat made for a very light offering today. Estimated dressed cost 1.91 - 1.97. CME Live Cattle were up at the time of the report. CME Corn was also up. Slaughter cows Breaker and Lean steady to 2.00 higher, Boner steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter Bulls 2.00 to 3.00 higher.

Traditional Slaughter weight lambs 7.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand for this light offering was good. Ewes Good 2-3 5.00 to 7.00 higher, Utility 1-2 6.00 to 8.00 higher, Good 4-5 and Cull 1 to few to make a meaningful comparison.
