Compared to last week: Slaughter steers steady to 3.00 lower with instances of 4.00 lower, Holstein steers 2.00 lower, heifers steady. The premium for no implant and drug free cattle last week was not evident today. Demand for this large offering was moderate. Packer buyers were more reserved this week. Fair weighing conditions as most cattle were delivered over night. Some cattle carried about 1% of their body weight in tag, estimated dressed cost 1.78 to 1.84. A large number of steers weighing over 1600, most sold in loads. Slaughter cows 4.00 to 9.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold with higher undertones.

Traditional slaughter weight lambs 4.00 higher. Slaughter ewes 5.00 to 10.00 higher, except Good 4-5 steady. Very good demand for this really nice, large offering of slaughter lambs, and slaughter ewes.
